Bostelle:
A List of Selected
Exhibitions
Tom Bostelle never made much of his long list of exhibitions,
but in a career that stretched back to the 1930s, he had
quite a few moments in the spotlight. He worked with -- and
sometimes in spite of -- a long list of gallery owners. Some
carried his work for years. Some ran afoul of him and
walked away. Bostelle honestly didn't care. As long as he
made enough money to live on, he was content. Here are

Bostelle's eerie cast metal shadow sculptures were
gathered inside the studio for safekeeping after his
death. They have lost none of their power.
